The nature of the HUAMAO® PVA:
HUAMAO® PVA is a white granular water-soluble synthetic resin, the chemical name is polyvinyl alcohol, abbreviation PVA. The main properties of PVA are determined by the degree of alcoholysis and polymerization of the molecule and have the following properties:
1. Water-soluble: Easily soluble in water, insoluble in almost all organic solvents.
2. The viscosity of aqueous solution: the viscosity of PVA aqueous solution varies with the degree of polymerization, temperature and solution concentration.
3. Film-Forming: PVA aqueous solution is easy to film, its film has excellent tensile strength and wear strength and other physical properties.
4. Hygroscopic: PVA film has a lower hygroscopicity, and the moisture absorption with the temperature change is smaller than other water-soluble polymers.
5. Resistant to oil: PVA has a strong weak acid and weak alkaline, in addition, there are very excellent oil resistance.
