Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is a kind of white, stable and non-toxic water-soluble macromolecule polymer, which can dissolve quickly in water, form stable colloid and water is a good solvent.

Polyvinyl alcohol resin (PVA) aqueous solution has good film-forming and emulsifying property. The formed film has excellent subsequent force, solvent resistance, friction resistance, strength and oxygen resistance. Polyvinyl alcohol resin (PVA) has two functional groups of hydrophilic and hydrophobic radicals, so it is a material with interfacial activity, so it can be used as protective colloid when polymer emulsification and suspension polymerization reaction.
Polyvinyl alcohol resin (PVA) is mainly used in the production of synthetic fibres, plastics, adhesives, paints, new building materials and other products, and is widely used in chemical, textile, printing paper, leather industry, construction and other industries and fields.
