Introduction

Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is a non-ionic, water soluble cellulose ether.It is widely used as thickener, protective colloid, stabilizer, suspending aids and water-retention agents in many industrial applications.

Application of HuaMao® HPMC:
The application includes but is not limited to the following fields:
1. Construction: with excellent thixotropy, it provides pumping performance to the mortar. As adhesion agent in plaster, gypsum based material, putty or other construction material, it could improve workability and extend the operating time. As strength adhesion agent used with tile, marble, plastic decorative, it could reduce the dosage of cement. It also has good water - retention property.
2. Ceramic: used as the binder in the ceramic application.
3. Coating: used as thickener, dispersing agent and stabilizer, with good compatibility in water or organic solvent.
4.Lnk&Print: used as thickener, dispersing agent and stabilizer, with good compatibility in water or organic solvent.
5. Plastic as the release agent, softening agent and smoothing agent.
6. PVA: mainly used as dispersion agent in PVA production.
7. Others: widely used in leather, paper, food and textile industries.
